Accounting is the process of communicating financial information about a business unit to relevant users or entities to potential shareholders, creditors (including banks or vendors), financial analysts, economists, and government agencies. Accounting can be divided into two major areas: management accounting and financial accounting. Management accounting focuses on reporting to people inside the business unit and provides information to employees, managers, owner-managers, and auditors. The main goal is to provide management with a foundation for making key decisions related to management and operations. Finance teaches you about managing money, insurance, financial and banking operations, real estate companies and public institutions. During the courses, you will also develop your synthesis, planning and problem solving skills. You will uncover all the secrets of the balance sheet and you will be familiar with different types of finance, viz. Public Finance, Personal Finance or Corporate Finance.
