OVERVIEW:

Currently, it has approximately 20,000 students from all around the world and the institute was grant university status in 1992 for students around the world to study in UK.

The university has four faculties focusing on Art, Design and Humanities, Business and Law, Health and life Sciences, and Technology. The courses offered at the university are designed and accredited to meet the industrial demands and many of the courses are endorsed by professional bodies. The institute has strong industrial linkages which imply that many students undertake a work placement with a variety of organizations that include such as the BBC, the NHS, HP and Deloitte.

According to the 2015 Destination of Leavers from Times Higher Education survey, the De MontFort University is rated among the top 25 UK universities with the best employment rates, with almost 96% of its graduates work or do masters/PHD in six months after graduating from the course.

CAMPUS TOUR

DMU’s campus is only a five minute walk to the city center which has a lot of shops, cafes and a thriving nightlife. The university’s QEII leisure center and Heritage Center are very famous.

QEII Leisure center: The QEII Leisure Centre offers state-of-the-art facilities including a 25 meter swimming pool, climbing wall, eight court sports hall, fitness suite and dance studio.

Heritage center: It represents rich history that surrounds De Montfort campus, reflecting the university’s history and its contribution to teaching, research and the lives of our students over 145 years. It hosts two gallery spaces which are supporting temporary exhibitions program.

STUDENT SUPPORT

De Montfort University is undergoing many developments including the restoration of the Great Hall of Leicester Castle, which is to be transformed into a business school and offer a portfolio of new courses.

This scholarship is available on a first-come, first served basis upon receipt of a £4,000 tuition fee deposit.

Sustainability Scholarship, £4,000

This offer is available for outstanding post-graduate program. It have an offer of admission for any full time one-year postgraduate taught program.

FUTURE PROSECTS

DMU graduates receive a Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR). The Business School encourages entrepreneurs of the future with Fox’s Lair pitch scheme which is the only one of its kind in the UK.
