Money and Living Expenses

In Dublin you can expect to spend EUR 863 on average a month without rent, according to the latest figures. If you are planning your money well, there is no reason not to enjoy your time abroad in Ireland. We have reduced some living expenses below to help you get started.

Tuition fees in Ireland:

Student tuition: € 9,000 - € 45,000 per year. Master and PhD degree courses: € 9,150 - € 37,000 per year. Fees vary depending on your chosen study area, program and university. You will pay approximately € 2,500 per year for student services, such as assessment and support for groups and communities.

Accommodation:

The estimated cost of renting is € 541 per month for a single room, depending on the location and type of accommodation. For students living outside Dublin, the cost is usually low. In one year of study this could set you back $ 4,869 in housing costs. Depending on the type of accommodation you choose, you will have to set aside additional expenses for expenses and other expenses. Since Ireland is a cold and wet country during the winter months you should allow around € 164 per month for heating and related costs. The light of the central apartment can also be higher than you may be accustomed to: the sun in winter time rises at around 8.30am and starts at 4.30pm!

Cost of Living:

Like any city, living in Ireland comes with its inevitable costs. Depending on your needs and budget, this can give you an idea of what you can spend on a month.
