Master in Intelligent Systems and Robotics - MSc
English Requirements
- IELTS Overall Band: 6.0

Essex Robots require well-developed knowledge of areas ranging from computer science and artificial intelligence, to engineering and neuroscience, in order to produce hardware that can be heard and use the real world. You will apply your learning in computer science or engineering to solve a problem. Design, implement and evaluate a solution, producing a dissertation on your investigation and giving an oral presentation of your work. Test your knowledge, while gaining practical experience and building your project management skills. You will also get introduction to intelligent systems and robotics, as it goes on to consider the vital hardware for sensing and manipulating the real world, and their properties and characteristics and learn programming of intelligent systems and real-world robots are explored in the context of localization, mapping, and fuzzy logic control, along with the techniques to develop software for embedded systems and robotics.
The degree aims to familiarize you with the whole pipeline of processing, analyzing, presenting and making decision using data, as the curriculum blends data analysis, decision making and visualization with practical python programming. You will need a reasonable programming background as they will be expected to develop a complete end-to-end data science application. Essex MSc Intelligent Systems and Robotics field has allowed us to upgrade everything from satellites and underground, to automotive and robotics. Research by our team led to a preliminary look at the Robot World Cup final, a fish with autonomous robots at the London Aquarium, and a computer-generated visual system.
