QMUL BSc (Hons) Global Health is designed to give graduates a deeper understanding of public health in all forms of teaching. From epidemics such as ebola or HIV to the spread of drug-resistant germs and access to medicines in poor countries, the world's health problems are complex and multifaceted.
During your first year you will develop your analytical and research skills and gain a solid foundation in a variety of disciplines, including medicine, anthropology, economics, brain diseases, ethnicity, law, philosophy, politics, sociology and mathematics. You will then apply this information to specific health issues, such as maternal and child health, climate-related diseases, infectious and communicable diseases. Pathway modules give you the freedom to follow your interests as you progress to your degree.
