Bachelor of Biochemistry – BSc (Hons)

Biochemistry is a multidisciplinary field, in which Biology (analyzing cell parts) and Chemistry (interactions between elements) are combined, in order to understand the processes that occur in living organisms and how to grow them as much as possible. The main roles of Biochemistry are Molecular genetics, Protein Science, and Metabolism. Students will work on all kinds of living things, from human, to animal and microscopic. Biochemistry degrees offer general courses in Microbiology and Immunology, General Biology, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Biophysics, Cellular and Evolutionary Biology, and more.

Biochemistry is the study of the basic processes of life in a chemical environment. Biologists want to answer questions about the phenomena of life, health and disease, the natural world, the materials and materials using scientific and biomedical techniques. Graduates can find work in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage industry, the agricultural and biotechnology industries as well as in funded, academic and scientific research.
