Overview
The University of Law can trace its origins to 1876 with the formation of leading tutorial firm Gibson & Weldon, which resulted in the instituting The College of Law in 1962. It was conceded university status in 2012, changing its name to The University of Law. In 2012, The University of Law became the first university to be granted an Alternative Business Structure (ABS) license, permitting students to work on real pro bono cases during their studies.
It welcomes international students from all around the globe to 14 locations over the UK and Hong Kong and offers an extensive range of campus-based degrees and online degrees which are designed with both practical and professional skill development.
ULaw offers undergraduate degrees in business, criminology, law and policing, with students from over 103 countries and more than 71,000 alumni worldwide. ULaw offers 21st-century relevant law, criminology, policing and business bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, graduate diplomas, and postgraduate diplomas where the majority of programs are taught by qualified and practiced lawyers, solicitors, barristers and judges.
Also based in London Bloomsbury campus is The University of Law Business School, which consolidates business experience and practice with academia and theory through customized, experiential and interactive learning. The business courses are accredited to the Chartered Management Institute, providing students with access to a range of online resources and membership privileges. The rich heritage and reputation for innovation and contemporary teaching practices mean that we’ve trained more practicing lawyers in the UK than any other establishment.

HS Consultants is the official representative for The University of Law as the entity has assisted students to secure admission along with scholarships and successful tier 4 Visa grants from Pakistan to study in the UK.
Our partnership with ULaw has matured international enrollments from Pakistan and increased experience for students to embark on their academic journey in the UK.

CAMPUS TOUR
The university has extended its campus in Birmingham, Bristol, Chester, Guildford, GISMA Berlin, Hong Kong, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, University of Chester, University of East Anglia, University of Exeter, University of Liverpool, University of Reading and two locations in London – Bloomsbury, and Moorgate. Students can also complete their degree in LLB dual degree in Spain.
STUDENT SUPPORT
ULaw has reserved accommodation for our undergraduate students near the university campuses with some of the UK’s leading student accommodation providers. They are not only are great in locations but it will also provide opportunities for students to socialize. Students can also have access to an online accommodation portal which will provide helpful advice on choosing a property to rent in the city where you’re studying, as well as property listings search for students who have accepted a place at one of our campuses.
Careers and Employability Service is one of the largest in the UK with over 30 experts on hand to help give you one-to-one support and guidance. Students will have access to over 3,000 genuine cases where they can put their legal skills into practice. Furthermore, the student mentoring scheme for postgraduate law students means you’ll have the opportunity to work with 600 practicing lawyers to get that all-important, hands-on legal experience.
ULaw has a distinct facility service, Switch It Up which allows undergraduate law students to study in two or more cities which will broaden their personal and academic horizons.

Law First Scholarships
It aims to provide opportunities for the most talented future lawyers. It includes 10 awards of £2,000. It is valid for students who have received an offer for LLB and have a minimum of ABB at A-level (or equivalent). LLB courses are commencing in September 2020, students can apply by 6 June 2020.The Lawyer 2B Creative Thinking Award
ULaw offers a full-fee award to a student wishing to study one of the undergraduate law courses, which is offered in partnership with Lawyer 2B, the Lawyer's student publication, providing information and advice for anyone interested in pursuing a career in law. This award is for £9,250 reduction in course fees. The minimum grades must be AAB at A-levelLaw For All Bursary
The Law for All Bursary has been specifically designed for the schools and colleges working in partnership with The University of Law. Up to 15 awards of £1,000 are available. Students need to have received an offer for one of our undergraduate law courses. Postgraduate Scholarships for Pakistani students to study Law in the UK:The Lord Blunkett Widening Access Awards
The Lord Blunkett Widening Access Award is offering bursaries of more than 100 awards of £1,000 to students whose circumstances may otherwise prevent them from completing their legal studies and entering the legal profession. This is offered for all postgraduate law students with strong academic credentials. To maintain this award, students need to maintain a minimum of a Lower Second Class degree (or international equivalent).Below are application deadlines
- Postgraduate Law courses starting in March 2020: Apply by 28 February 2020
- Postgraduate Law courses starting in July 2020: Apply by 27 June 2020
- Postgraduate Law courses starting in September 2020: Apply by 20 August 2020
- Postgraduate Law courses starting in January 2021: Apply by 1 December 2020
Set for Success Scholarships
ULaw is offering full-fee scholarships to students wishing to study our postgraduate law courses, which have been endorsed by Sadiq Khan and the Baroness Sayeeda Warsi. Set for Success scholarships offer full-fee scholarships to students wishing to study our postgraduate law courses. Students who are not awarded a full-fee scholarship will automatically be put forward for the runner up award, worth £2,000.
Campus Dean’s LPC Awards
ULaw is proposing more than 150 awards worth £2,000 to students who are opting for LPC. Students need to obtain at least a Lower Second Class degree, or international equivalent and have received an offer for the LPC program.
Bar Practice Course Awards
ULaw is offering a range of BPC awards that could assist students to finance their BPC and support them in preparing for a career as a barrister. The awards include:
Dean’s Award for Achievement – 33 copies of either The White Book or Blackstone’s, on request Master / Mistress of Moots - 1 award of £4,500 Advocacy Scholarships - 12 awards of £2,000 Senior Scholars - 5 awards of £3,000 Advocacy Scholarships - 15 awards of £1,750Vice Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement – 6 BPC Master of Laws LLMs at no extra cost (worth up to £3,000 Dean’s Award for Excellence – 33 awards of £500 and a copy of either The White Book or Blackstone’s, on request As part of the application process, students will be invited to attend a selection event. Your performance at this event will be reviewed and the various awards will be decided by the BPC selection panel. Students must submit their application and complete the selection process before 2 March 2020.
The Rice-Jones scholarship
The Rice-Jones Scholarship is open to any individual studying at Chester and Manchester campuses. It is valid for students who demonstrate academic promise, commitment to the legal profession and financial need. It is anticipated that entrants will have accepted a place to study a postgraduate law course but not limited to the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), Bar Practice Course (BPC), Legal Practice Course (LPC) and MA Law.
Each award will be between £250 and £1,500 towards their tuition fees. Applications must be submitted by Tuesday 1 May 2020.
Scholarships for Business Courses to Study Abroad
Business For All Bursary
The Business for All Bursary has been specifically designed for the schools and colleges working in partnership with The University of Law. 15 awards of £1,000 are available. Students will need to have received an offer for one of the undergraduate business courses and meet the criteria based on widening participation.
The Professional Services Excellence Awards
This award offers £5,000* towards fees for one of our new business Master’s courses*. All eligible students who apply to one of the relevant courses will automatically be shortlisted for consideration for this award.
*Please note that the award for the MSc Project Management course is £3,000.
Leaders in Global Accounting Award
This award offers a 15% discount off the fee of our MSc Global Accounting course. All eligible students who apply to study our MSc Global Accounting will automatically be shortlisted for consideration for this award.
Alumni Loyalty Scheme Discount:
ULaw is offering a £500 discount on the tuition fees for the loyal students who are staying on to study another course with us through our alumni loyalty scheme. Students can claim their alumni loyalty award against our range of full-time and part-time courses.
RANKING:
In 2019, ULaw achieved top-ten placements among UK universities for five categories in the National Student Survey 2019: teaching, learning opportunities, academic support, learning resources, and student's voice. It is also awarded a Teaching Excellence Framework in June 2019 because of its high-quality teaching. Its career-focused education has developed key skills needed for employability, hence 97% of LPC graduates secure employment within 9 months.
