£2million have been invested in the new purpose-built Performing Arts and Events Centre at Oxstalls. It includes dance studio with a harlequin-sprung floor, full lighting rig, and sound, an acoustically designed music, a drama studio with a multi-media studio.

Recently, the University of Gloucestershire's School of Business and Technology has been shifted to the new state-of-the-art home at our Oxstalls campus. It is home to Business, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Law and Accounting and Finance courses. University has also emphasized the expansion of sports facilities including 3G pitches, new sports hall, and stadium.

The University of Gloucestershire is encouraging academic excellence and operates a scholarship program for international students. Scholarships ranging from £2,000–4,000 are available for undergraduate and postgraduate full-time taught courses.

Few of the halls are externally located at varying distances. The university bus runs between all campuses every half hour during term time. Students who wish to stay during the Christmas and Easter vacations can stay and they only have to move out during the summer months.

University provides a "Future Plan" a scheme to guarantee every undergraduate student support to formulate a personal career plan which they begin working on in their first year of study. It works to enhance students' presentation skills, volunteering, completing internships and work placements, and participating in sports teams, social clubs and societies.

The University is ranked 38th out of 132 for teaching quality and 44th out of 132 for overall student experience (The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019). It is the top 5 in the UK for international student support (ISB, 2017).
