The International Centre for Students (ICS) provides support for all University of Manitoba students, including Commerce students and information such as on-campus and off-campus work permits, campus volunteer opportunities, language buddies and information on banking, transportation and health insurance.
Students planning on securing employment as post study work visa can apply for an off campus work permit 5 months prior to graduation date to act as a bridge until they receive Canada post graduate work permit.
ICM is committed to helping students achieve their career goals by offering scholarships to outstanding students. Each semester, ICM awards two students with academic merit scholarship which is equivalent to one academic semester’s fees (up to five academic subjects).
