University of Wollongong (Dual Bachelor’s Degrees)

The University of Wollongong, abbreviated as UOW, is a public research university located in the coastal city of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia, approximately 80 kilometers south of Sydney. As of 2012, the University has more than 300000 students enrolled, included more than 11000 international students from more than 140 countries. The University ranked 276th in the 2013 QS World University Rankings, The University of Wollongong has fundamentally developed into a multi-campus institution, three of which are in Wollongong (Wollongong, Shoalhaven and Innovation), one in Sydney and one in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 

The University of Wollongong has five faculties: Business; Engineering and Information Sciences; Law, Humanities and The Arts; Science, Medicine and Health and Social Sciences. In addition to these areas of study, UOW also provides access for students to differing levels of academic involvement and research through SMART (Simulation, Modelling, Analysis, Research, Teaching). Completed in February 2011, SMART is a world class infrastructure facility strategically designed to be an international leader in applied infrastructure research and education. The SMART Infrastructure Facility has been specifically designed and fitted out with laboratories and research collaboration spaces to encourage people to meet and work together.
