The University of Nebraska–Lincoln (commonly referred to as Nebraska, UNL or NU) is a public research university located inLincoln, Nebraska, United States. It is the state's oldest and largest university and the FlagshipUniversity of the University of Nebraska system. The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. UNL celebrated the 146th anniversary of its founding on Feb. 15, 2015.
