UTP Stage-II Science will lead to Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from University Of Manitoba. The Faculty of Science offers a wide variety of scientific programs in the province, as well as opportunities for research with world-renowned scientists and the largest collaborative work program in the province.
To progress to the second year of the Bachelor of Science degree program, you must complete UTP Stage II with a good CGPA, and adequate entry requirements. Biochemistry is a multidisciplinary field, in which Biology (the analysis of cell elements) and Chemistry (interactions between elements) are combined, in order to understand the processes that occur in living organisms and how to use them as much as possible.
The main fields of Biochemistry are Molecular Genetics, Protein Science, and Metabolism. Students will work with all kinds of living things, from humans, to animals and small animals. Biochemistry is the study of the structure of chemicals, processes and biological systems. Both Microbiology and Chemistry contribute to the teaching and management of this study abroad program. Honors programs and co-operatives provide information on government, the private sector and research laboratories. Within Biochemistry programs, you can take courses and do research on topics ranging from chemistry to microbiology to biology including: cellular and biological cancer biology, molecular biology, structural biology, biophysics and bioenergetics, genomics and biology. -genetics.
Many studies include laboratory components of skills development in scientific methods. After graduating from Canada in Biochemistry, graduates may find employment in hospitals, universities, restaurants, drug rehabilitation centers, or cosmetic laboratories. In this study abroad, over time students can grow into partners in clinical research, technology scientists, toxicology, chemical analysis, nanotechnologist, pharmacists, and more.
