UTP Stage-II Engineering Leading to Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
English Requirements
Civil Engineering works by designing, building and maintaining the infrastructure we rely on a daily basis: buildings, roads, bridges, water and energy systems, waste disposal networks, and much more. Engineering is equivalent to the first year of graduation of the University of Manitoba's Bachelor of Science (Engineering) which is one of best places for study abroad.
As the oldest engineering school in Western Canada, the Faculty of Engineering prepares graduates for leadership roles by focusing on preparation and collaboration. To enter the Faculty of Engineering, you must complete the university admission requirements within the allotted time submitted to the University of Manitoba. These requirements must be met before the due date for consideration in next intake of that year. If you miss this deadline, you can enroll in more courses at ICM or enroll in the Faculty of Science from time to time to prepare for the next meal the following year.
Construction engineers plan, design, direct construction, manage, and maintain buildings that are familiar to most people. They are involved in infrastructure and environmental projects such as bridges, dams, highways, wastewater treatment plants, airports and flood management programs. Civil engineers are increasingly using new technologies such as Geographical Information / Positioning Systems, high-quality materials, remote vision and monitoring in their projects. Courses include engineering, liquids, structural engineering, infrastructure engineering and construction management, limited feature approach, use of spatial, economic, planning, transport planning, environmental and design analysis, hydrology, and technology and society.
This abroad study Civil engineers work as consultants, government agencies, construction firms, and oil and gas companies, among others. There are opportunities for international development and public works, and construction engineers are finding long-term employment in the established industry in the use of advanced technology.
