Masters in Environmental Management - MSc

MSc Environmental Management is critical to all types of organizations within the UK and globally, there is a growing need for trained environmental managers and, as environmental challenges begin to manifest, this need shows no signs of slowing down. Hertfordshire MSc in Environmental Management offers a flexible and comprehensive approach to learning and provides a solid foundation on key aspects of environmental management, including environmental assessment, selection, design and implementation of environmental tools and methods including EIA, ERA, Lifecycle Assessment and environmental policy and legislation. 

Studying in this Environmental Management MSc is the first step in becoming a Chartered Environmentalist. Five core learning modules are taken and students then select three modules to choose from. Students also complete two modules (Research Methods and Research Project) that directly support their independent research project. The project can be based on a matter of environmental management that is of interest to you or your organization, and you will be assigned by a member of the staff who will guide you through the research process.
