The course of urban planning and planning at London South Bank University focuses on urban design as part of urban planning, giving you the opportunity to develop your understanding of urban design and development problems by working on different city scales and engaging in literary debates. 'Editorial' is a work of art and public policy. It treats architecture as a work of art and democracy, suggesting that professional knowledge and deep involvement with communities are essential if areas are to achieve lasting and effective functioning. The MA is wholly approved by the Royal Town Planning Institute as a 'master degree'. This means that after graduation you can become RTPI licenses.
LSBU’s planning school works in partnership with the RTPI Partnership Board, a high-quality body that fits in with the teaching and learning program. Various educated modules include classroom sessions led by professional staff, sometimes our alumni. Students are encouraged to engage with real-life planning issues and their organization in order to conduct quality research about their dissertation. The one-day tours and week-long tours include presentations with staff in London, the UK and internationally. LSBU’s planning instructors often hold posts within RTPI and work on various development projects.
This course will provide you with specialized expertise in urban design, allowing you to study this advice within a broader framework of urban planning and real estate development. This will allow you to develop a range of skills that will appeal to urban design, planning and property development employers; well-organized construction works, government agencies, local authorities and research institutes that other potential employers offer.
