Master of Engineering Project Management - MSc

The combination of digital and physical technologies that drive the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) is changing our world. MSc Engineering Project Management provides an opportunity to develop management skills to apply technical strategies to projects within the Engineering industry. This course explores specific challenges to the key goals of design and sustainability in the delivery of new engineering programs, products, businesses and services for Sector 4.0. Throughout the course, you will develop specialized project management skills of various types and strategies for managing effective development phases of the life cycle and process.

During your study at Manchester Metropolitan University, you will have one optional unit that can be adapted to previous knowledge, e.g. in mechanical or electrical engineering, and will be guided by choosing one engineering project that supports your career aspirations. Our teaching staff comes from a variety of technical fields with functional networks in a variety of fields, from engineering and environmental engineering, to railways and the built environment. Together, this multidisciplinary team will help you to become a roundtable professional, ready to apply for engineering management roles at organizations around the world.
