You’ll have the opportunity to be part of collaborative structure and layout initiatives within the School of Architecture that come up with the opportunity to work on a numerous type of live projects. University students has participated and became a part of competitions: explorations in timber construction in the Wyre Forest, communicating with the general public about what they really need from layout for Stirchley High Street in Birmingham and implementation of a viewing shape to study wetland ecology at Henbury Ponds.
You’ll also have the opportunity to take part in workshops from a massive variety of worldwide and award triumphing professionals. Previous visitor audio system have included Martha Schwartz, Andrew Grant, Andrew Wilson, Jeppe Aagard Anderson, Neil Porter, Chris Beardshaw and Kim Wilkie.
You’ll be based in our multi-million pound City Centre Campus inside our Parkside Building, where you will have get entry to virtual studios and 3D design workshops. The proximity of the newly constructed Eastside Park offers inspiration on your studies, introducing a robust example of modern-day civic space and park layout.
