Finance and Investment Banking with Placement Year

This course provides a coherent and insightful learning experience, gives you critical insight into the subject and empowers you to use a variety of financial analysis tools and financial banking services. You can now combine this Technical Expertise with one year placement. The job placement gives you a realistic view of your academic qualifications and allows you to dramatically increase your skill set for a variety of financial and investment banking positions. You will gain the knowledge and practical skills to identify suitable tools for the investigation of issues in areas such as investment analysis, fund/asset management, economics analysis and financial reporting. You will also learn quantitative methodology, to carry out quantitative analyses of relevant financial and economic problems.

The program also looks at the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA) exams in Level 1 and 2, specific duties that may include listing the roles of an investment bank (e.g., financial analyst, investment manager, security analyst and portfolio) and roles in the financial sector of organizations / entities (e.g., treasury, financial management, risk analysis etc.). In addition, the program provides a sound platform for preparing medical research in the areas of finance, accounting and economics. You will be evaluated through a variety of coursework and exams including written reports of various lengths, presentations, and practical assignments. You will also be able to complete a research dissertation, in conjunction with your supervisor, for the research component of your program.
