The Electronic Engineering will provide you with a knowledge of the social, commercial, legal, ethical, economic and environmental elements related to engineering, in addition to comprehensive understanding of the science and mathematics related to the discipline.
You will also broaden the key transferrable skills that contemporary employers require, along with problem solving, strategy planning, presentation and communication. Our competitions, such as the annual Engineering Show includes the worldwide micro-mouse competition, offers you the possibility to take part in more than a few competitions focused on autonomous and non-autonomous robotic vehicles.
Our engineering courses emphasizes on task-based activities, giving you plenty of opportunity for team work on projects from design to implementation. This will give you practical experience of applying engineering technology to real international problems, working in multidisciplinary teams to increase your interpersonal capabilities, and prepare you for a key thing of present day engineering practice.
You’ll also have the choice of a placement all through your course, either via a summer internship or year-lengthy sandwich placement, so that you can provide you with the real-life talents and experience. This has helped former graduates progress into roles within companies which include UTC Aerospace and Vector GB.
