Diploma of Health Sciences

The Deakin College diploma in health science gave you the competent knowledge and skills of the health sciences areas towards society, people and individuals. Health science diploma is a generic term which including all the instructions used in the delivery and development of Health facilities. Bachelors and Masters in Health Science include information from other fields, such as natural sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics, which can be used in health care research and practice, and in public health education. By completing you will gain a broader understanding of how the human body works and access to a broad range of highlights that provide you with valuable information and skills to use in various aspects of health issues that allow you to adapt this course to suit your career.

After completing the Diploma Program form Deakin College students will easily transfers into the bachelor program at Deakin University and resume their studies for his second year of health sciences related offering disciplines. Students are eligible to progress into the following Bachelor degree in Deakin University:

• Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science with the Major in (Applied Sport Science, Disability and Inclusion, Exercise Physiology, Family, Society and Health, Health Promotion, Nutrition, Physical Activity and Health, Psychology, Sports Coaching, Sports Nutrition)
• Bachelor of Health Sciences with the majors in (Disability and Inclusion, Environmental Health, Exercise Science,  Family, Society and Health, Food Studies, Health and Sustainability, Health Promotion, Medical Biotechnology, Nutrition, Physical Activity and Health, Psychological Science, Psychology for Professional Development)
• Bachelor of Nutrition Science with the majors in (Disability and Inclusion, Exercise Science, Family, Society and Health, Food Innovation, Health Promotion, Physical Activity and Health, Psychology)
• Bachelor of Psychological Sciences
• Bachelor of Public Health and Health Promotion
