Civil engineering and architectural design, building and maintaining the infrastructure on which we depend on a daily basis: buildings, roads, bridges, water and electrical systems, waste networks and more. People working in civil engineering and construction need to get accustomed to plans and structures and find solutions to complex problems such as human population growth or natural disasters. Transport Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering are some of the specializations in the field of Civil Engineering. Modern civil engineering professionals need a broad understanding of construction management because it brings strategic benefits to individuals and project teams. This course utilizes experience from the internationally recognized construction project management course and combines it with our high-level civil engineering postgraduate course to provide comprehensive and valuable education. As a result, our most recent graduates are employed by national and international employers. This MSc degree has previously been found to meet the further learning requirements for CEGN (Partial) BEng (Hons) or Accredited IEng (Complete) Accredited Candidates for Chartered Engineer (CGE). Students will also receive PGDP and PGSert awards in this course. The course can be studied through online learning, which is ideal for employment or other commitments, providing comfortable study options that fit around work or family. It is also available on campus for full-time or part-time study. Students with degrees in civil engineering and construction can work in the public or private sector.
