The Community of Health is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council to give registered nurses the opportunity to obtain a Master's degree in Nursing Practice. The course includes 50% theory and 50% practice. Teaching at the university is mostly done within the building that Brooks wins. Proper reading practice is initiated by a practice teacher or signing counselor throughout the course of the lesson and takes place within an approved practice area. You must have a valid registration on certain parts of the NMC Professional Register in order to enter the professional awards, as defined by NMC (2001).
This course must be registered as a Primary Nursing, Adult (RN1, RNA) Regular Nurse Practitioner: Must be Registered as a Primary Nursing - Adult (RN1, RNA) or Primary – Nursing (RN8, RNC). This course contains conferences of basic unit and core unit units. You will create basic units as part of the Specialist Practitioner Qualization (SPQ) awards that can also be received by students from different types of technology, in order to develop multi-disciplinary learning. There are various teaching and learning strategies used throughout the course. These include lectures, workshops, work-based learning, e-learning, guided study, seminars and group work.
