BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science

QMUL BSc Biomedical Sciences is jointly taught by arts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and the School of Biological and Chemical Science. BSc Biomedical Science examines the science of the human body and the causes of human-related diseases. Based at Birmingham Medical School, QMUL’s comprehensive program examines the major body systems right at the cellular level and is constantly updated to reflect recent developments in the field.

Many of graduates specialize in medicine and dentistry, and this program is designed with this in mind. We will provide you with a comprehensive foundation in human biology, physiology, biochemistry, moology biology, immunology, genetics and pharmacology. In the final year, you can lead your study in specialized areas, including endocrinology, genomics, drug design, cell pathology and cancer biology.

QMUL Useful sessions in modern labs will give you information on how to use the power of science. In the final year you will build your project, guided by our experts, to develop the skills of being a researcher on your own
