Course Details

Actuaries are the ones that solve the problems that they can think of, drawing on their mathematical abilities to measure the probability and risk of future events. This function provides a satisfactory and economically viable career path through areas such as general insurance, life insurance, pensions and investments.

This degree program combines basic mathematics with special probability modules, statistics, actuary and financial statistics, and business economics. You will have the opportunity to learn from qualified professionals with extensive experience in the industry.

In addition to your academic qualifications, you will follow a professional development program, gain the necessary skills and knowledge of the industry to prepare you for a successful career. This grade is currently accredited by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA). Successful students receive remission in up to six of the Core Code courses under the new IFoA Curriculum 2019.
