BSc Electrical and Electronics Engineering

This course provides you with insight into a variety of topics including electronic design, communications, computer software moderation, and microelectronics and power generation. The BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering is three years. It provides students with the opportunity to learn from a wide selection of familiar and important topics in the faculty including: electronics, communications, software engineering, computer modeling, microelectronics, power and distribution, electrical equipment, signal processing, renewable energy systems and supply.

Electrical engineering affects the production of power and transmission and electrical equipment. Electronics engineering deals with systems such as computers, communication networks and sensors. This program will provide you with in-depth technical knowledge of both, alongside the experience of preparing you for real-world applications. Special techniques include energy engineering, microprocessor design and electronic communication systems. While the focus is on electronic design, you will also learn the basics of programming, completing your set of technical skills.
