BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering

This BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering degree provides a solid and practical foundation for those who want to open the door to one of the many career opportunities available by mechanical engineers. Through project-based learning throughout, you will develop transferable skills and financial awareness that are deeply involved in the industry. In your first year, you will find a foundation in basic mathematical concepts used in engineering science. In addition, you will be present on the practical side, design and construction challenge. You will develop scientific and analytical skills as you study skills such as solid mechanics and fluid, energy, thermodynamics and mathematics.

And with project work based on our research and done by the industry, you will learn how to apply those skills to a real-world engineering engineer. You will have the opportunity to spend an extra year expanding your horizons, working on industry placement. This degree in Mechanic engineering is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the need for registration as an Associated Engineer and to somehow meet the educational requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer. This course is available in the Foundation year.
