Bachelor of Technology (Engineering)

General Engineering and Technology looks for a broader understanding of applied engineering and general knowledge of technological equipment, methods and processes. It is a diverse field that includes mathematical and computer skills, basic mechanics, physics and mathematical physics. Although they have little theoretical knowledge, general engineering graduates acquire expertise in the application of engineering methods in a variety of technical fields and can convert conceptual schemes into practical applications. Ideal for students who may not meet the requirements for admission to a Bachelor of Engineering Honors but who wish to pursue a career in the field of engineering. This education may be used as a pathway to a Bachelor of Engineering honors course.

Learning program planners are critical to the functionality of the laboratory and to the examples designed for use. Students gain basic principles of practical engineering in the application of modern technology and design methods, and have a wide variety of skills and knowledge to handle industrial jobs. Graduates find work in construction offices, construction companies and engineering firms, or in research and development. Examples of job titles include garage expert, development specialist, quality engineering specialist, general repair technician, process technician, engineering specialist, engineering specialist among many others.
