The Bachelor of International Study & Bachelor of Commerce program at La Trobe University provides you with theoretical insights to understand the global challenges and practical skills in the business world. Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of International Study addresses economic, political and global issues affecting the global business market. Studying in Australia, will teach you a diverse set of skills and equip you with a background in literature, language skills, and how to travel the world of international business. You will learn how international organizations do business, and the issues and situations that can occur across international borders. Qualify for a professional, economic, financial, commercial or management position and expand your knowledge and skills by studying international relations. Establish entrepreneurial capabilities for the management of international institutions, multinational companies, NGOs and community-based humanitarian agencies such as international trade.
The International Relations component examines forces in political, social and cultural contexts. By analyzing multinational companies, non-governmental and governmental organizations, you will build an understanding of global issues. Your studies will cover areas such as culture and globalization, democracy and dictatorship, and Australia as a world state. The commercial component is designed to develop responsible, engaged, engaged professionals by providing opportunities to speak and work in business. It has a core that combines eight disciplines and eight core principles, selected from five prominent business sectors: accounting, economics, finance, management and marketing. The program is also offered by the Department of International Relations.
Major advertising in the Bachelor of Commerce is endorsed by the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI). Depending on the selection of subjects within the Bachelor of Commerce, students may be eligible for accredited education courses offered by CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ); please refer to the Handbook for more details. You will complete a network of business communications and stakeholder capacity where international businesses and communities interact in areas such as policy development, security, economics and communications.
