Bachelor of Computer Engineering at the University of Wollongong is a new program designed for input from major information technology and engineering industry partners. Provides an immersive learning experience. Learn by doing, rather than simply seeing as the focus is on what works. The university will be given the opportunity to do internships and complete real-world industrial activities to supplement the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom, and to apply this to the profession. The Australian Computer Society recognizes this education and offers refreshing units and the opportunity to adapt courses to suit my interests. University of Wollongong regularly invests in the School of Engineering and Technology to enable the student to access the latest materials and technologies in fully equipped labs and to access technological software products, such as IDE systems, game engines, VR and content development programs.
The University of Wollongong offers world-class research opportunities and advanced training in student research. Their research teams in software technology, artificial intelligence and data analytics, distributed systems and IoT, human computing partnerships, and IT education for the future help industries and give their students a competitive edge. The Computer Engineering program combines the theoretical and practical information needed to build a computer program from scratch. It gives students the opportunity to launch a computer program as part of an existing engineering program such as managing an industrial plant or equipment. This degree focuses on the underlying principles and techniques so that graduates can learn and apply new technologies as they emerge in the future. This integrated degree program enables students to gain expertise in both fields, with special emphasis on the areas where these fields interact.
