Photography is at the heart of today's visual culture. It is a form of writing and the illusion, communication and self-expression of art. Between the fine arts and commercial uses, the media and the forums our lives have become so intertwined with images that it is difficult to imagine a world without them. More than any other generation before we also become photographers - capture and share moments in our lives, developing our ideas and expressing our points of view with photography.
