Tourism covers all the economic and social activities associated with tourism experiences, leisure and enjoying free time. Specialists in the field are responsible for extending the customer experience of their customers, either by direct contact, or by effectively managing hostages and staff involved in resorts or activities. They work in tourism and the tourism industry, organizing various events or sports and health centers. Travel professionals have a good understanding of sales principles, excellent communication skills and often speak more than one foreign language. Most are trained in events, hospitality management, and business management.
During study in Malaysia, students will learn the basic skills needed by all tourism management professionals, as well as basic understanding of the business context - Management, Law, Accounting, Economics, Business, Marketing, Human Resources and Accounting, focusing on the issues involved in service management. We will also showcase business and communications skills, computer and IT skills and accounting skills, independent reading. A wide range of skills will be studied, whereby students will gain a better understanding of business management, such as international culture and communications, operations management, human resource development etc. In addition, they will explore topics and strategies in the various operations of tourism regulators. We will also expand their independent learning to prepare them for the workplace and do more research.
Students will use their previous courses and industry experience to broaden their adaptation to the practical and modern issues of tourism management, strategic and marketing and environmental issues, with the aim of training themselves as a tourism industry leader. Last year's project requires them to explore each topic - to demonstrate their academic skills and practical application in the chosen field of study. Some of the most popular travel activities include job titles such as Tourism Consultant, Tourism Business Tourism Manager, Event Manager, Tourism Project Manager, Tourism Sales Manager, Tour Operator, Corporate Tourism Manager, Group Marketing Manager, Hotel Manager, Hotel Manager, Hotel Manager travel agent, Front-Line customer services, Passenger management. A career in tourism requires people-directed skills more than any professional-related skill.
