Forensic accounting, or forensic accounting, is a disciplinary field that involves the use of certain accounting procedures to investigate financial statements or non-compliance. Includes information from other sectors such as economics and business, financial analysis, accounting, public policy, public or private law. Accountants' analyzes business reports and financial evidence, and their findings can be used in legal proceedings. They are often drawn into complaints such as business accounting, bankruptcy, credit card fraud, corporate fraud and many other cases of other economic crimes or property-related crimes. The Forensic Accounting program at Asia Pacific University (APU) is specifically designed to provide Knowledge and skills in identifying, investigating and evaluating evidence skills, including procedures on how to identify financial statement disclosures, job restructuring, tax fraud and other irregular accounting practices. Accounting skills for litigation - civil, criminal and corporate land. Effective oral and written communication skills are related to forensic accounting. Ability to create and present a case of fraud and to understand the impact it can have on the organization.
