Mechanical Engineering is a topic that focuses on the design, planning and production of almost everything you can think of, from individual parts and pieces to gadgets and large machines or systems. The work of mechanical engineers is very important. They are the ones who take ideas and turn them into products that are available in the market. Mechanical engineers are responsible for almost everything, from the safety features of automobiles to the construction and development of medical devices, aircraft maintenance, power centers, mobile devices, and so on.
The MSc Mechanical Engineering program aims to improve the knowledge and skills of Bachelor's-level graduate Mechanical Engineering to Masters Level through advanced teaching, design and research work. It provides an opportunity for candidates from different engineering backgrounds to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for Mechanical Engineering and the skills required for their technical development. The main purpose of this program is to become an accredited Chartered Engineer.
The program utilizes Masters level courses in Energy Sciences and Manufacture and Design in conjunction with professional courses from relevant MSc courses offered by the Institute. There is a growing need for an improved engineering program from our industry partners and this program is specifically designed to meet this need and encourage students to continue their studies. 9 Months (Diploma) is also available for this course. Students graduating with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering can participate in promising careers in any field of engineering. In addition to automobiles, modern mechanical engineers specialize in Aerospace Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Energy Engineering.
