Leeds International Study Centre

The University of Leeds is world famous for its teaching and research and is ranked in the top 100 universities in the world with an outstanding reputation for graduate recruitment and student experience. In the 2012 National Student Survey 90% of their students were satisfied with the teaching on their course (higher than the national average 85%). Also 17 members of teaching staff have been recognised for their excellence through the National Teaching Fellowship Scheme, more than any other university in England.

Leeds is recognised internationally as a centre for learning with two major universities, as well as eight colleges. The Leeds International Study Centre is in the heart of the city, close to the train station, and is a great place to explore the city and beyond.There are two major international airports nearby – Leeds Bradford and Manchester have flights world-wide, with connections through London Heathrow, Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris. There are regular trains to local towns and other major UK cities. It takes 30 minutes to get to York, one hour to Manchester, two hours to Liverpool and Birmingham, and is just over two hours to London.
